Introduction to Robotics Analysis Systems

The Czech writer Karel Capek introduced the word robot in a 1920 play. The word robot means servant in the Czech language. A robot in general refers to a reprogrammable machine that can perform a variety of tasks.

Robotics
As the robot industry entered into a period of fast growth in the 1980s, institutions began offering courses of study in robotics. Mechanical engineering, computer science and electrical engineering departments started offering such courses.
Robotics Analysis Systems
The design and operation of robotics analysis systems involves the mechanics to make the robot functional. This includes the use of dynamic systems modeling and analysis. It also involves feedback control, and sensors and signal conditioning.
Robot Sensors
Robot sensors, for instance, get input from the environment and send it to the robot controller as electronic signals. Much as human senses, such as sight and sound, provide humans input to function, robot sensors provide input to the robot.
