How to Delete Search Engine Menus

Search engine menus are add-ons to your Web browser software that are put there by a software program. If you never use the menus or want to remove them, use the Windows uninstaller to delete them from your computer. Add-ons act like any other program on your computer, and must be uninstalled to be completely removed from the system.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" button to open the menu. Click the "Control Panel" listing that appears.
2. Click "Programs" and open the "Programs And Features" option that appears. This will open a window displaying the currently installed programs on your computer.
3. Click the entry for the search engine menu in the list to select it and click the "Uninstall" button. Click "Yes" in the confirmation pop-up to begin removing the search engine menu from your computer.
4. Wait for the progress bar to complete and right-click the "Recycle Bin" icon. Click the "Empty" option to permanently remove the program from your computer and complete the removal process.
